Location & Parking: The Halls are located in the centre of York, with each booking at the hall we offer 10 car parking spaces. The nearest train station is just 10 minutes from the venue. The nearest NCP car park is approximately 5-10 minutes away.

Description

The Company of Merchant Taylors is a registered charity entrusted with conserving and promoting this iconic heritage site with origins dating back to the 13th Century. As a registered charity, the surplus income we generate from events held at the Hall is reinvested in the maintenance of this magnificent Grade 1 listed building. Nestled against the historical walls of the City of York, and a 2 minute walk to York Minster you can host a unique event surrounded by history. 

Our prestigious 600 year old Guild Hall provides a magnificent venue for meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and weddings. We offer a flexible space for 15-120 delegates, plus city centre parking and gardens. Located in the City Centre of York with excellent public transport links. A 15 minute walk will get you to York train station, where it is less than 2 hours by train to London Kings Cross and only an hours drive to Leeds Bradford International airport. 

Our two main rooms, The Great Hall and The Blue Hall, can be laid out to suit your needs, whilst our garden allows delegates to enjoy fresh air during networking breaks, outside sessions, and activities. Free WIFI available throughout, and AV set-up is available to meet your event needs.

Our dedicated staff will partner with you throughout the planning stages to ensure everything is just as you'd like it. We will be with you from start to finish to ensure everything goes smoothly. Our award winning caterers offer a choice of delicious food and drinks packages. 

With flexible packages to meet your conference or meeting needs we are happy to tailor our range of day delegate packages to your requirements. Our packages include, as standard, the private hire of the Blue Hall and or the Great Hall, ten car parking spaces, gardens, tables and comfortable conference chairs, dedicated events hosts and a full catering team to serve refreshments.
